Here are step by step photos of the construction of my bridge.

Instead of cutting through the wood for every joint, i would cut half way through each piece, so they would interlock, and possibly be stronger. It didn't really seem to make a difference, though.

I doubled the members that I thought would be put under the most stress, but it didn't seem to make a difference, either.
